Things I'm Loving This Thursday

Thursday, March 10, 2011

This week, I'm loving...
  • Social Grocery! What is it? It's a Facebook app that loads coupons onto your grocery store rewards card. The coupon is activated when you swipe your rewards card at checkout. I scored a $1.50 off Ben and Jerry's coupon! Why this is genius: no more clipping coupons, no more remembering to take coupons with you, no more paper waste! What I can't figure out is why isn't this the biggest thing since sliced bread. Go sign-up! More users=Growth.
  • Joan Rivers. Everyone is in love with Betty White, me too. But Joan Rivers is my golden girl. She is so my humor. Watching her do Fashion Police on E! is like having cupcakes at midnight...a guilty pleasure. I think she is so underrated. Watch her documentary A Piece of Work and you'll see what I mean. Joan always cracks me up! She has my kind of humor too. Thanks for your friendship and support during these past 4 crazy weeks of jury duty. I'm glad to be back with my blogging buddies.

Love your analogy - having cupcakes at midnite:) I wish couponing was a thing here in Canada. I've watched some of those shows and seen how much can be saved and I am plain jealous. Our coupons are rare and usually not really worth the effort.

I used to think it was bad that I LOVED Joan Rivers on Fashion Police, but then I read this post. Thanks for the Validation. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go catch up on my DVR'd episodes of Fashion Police. :-)
