Let the Insanity Begin! Week Four Results

Saturday, March 12, 2011

My left Achilles tendon is still bothering me. It is frustrating because it's hampering my workouts. It's always stiffer when I wake up in the morning, which leads me to believe that I am doing something in my sleep to cause the problem. I'm making a pouty face as I type this.

Today kicked off the Recovery Week portion of the Insanity program. These are two words that don't belong together. Apparently, Shaun T.'s idea of recovery is lots of core and balancing exercises, torturous segues, and fewer water breaks. I am not sure yet how this is supposed to help my muscles recover from the last four weeks. See how skeptical I look?

Yaaaay! Look at you, mama!! I'm super late, I see but let me say a hearty congrats anyway!! I love it when we decide to commit to a thing AND share it with the rest of the world on some heres-the-real-deal-no-cutsie-crap sort of vibe! You have a new cheerleader!! I tried Insanity for about 3 days, and then stopped because I was positive I would actually DIE! LOL! You're my shero!!

'recovery' is no joke! Sounds like you might have a little case of plantar fascitis? I think you're doing great! Keep it up!
