CLOSED...Marlie and Me L-O-V-E Mom-preneurs #1: Sew Bebe (R&G)

Sunday, January 31, 2010

Momprenuers buttonMichelle was the first mom-preneur who responded to my call for sponsors. She is the creative talent behind SewBebe (and a fellow Swap Mama!). She sent me two of her embellished burp cloths to review. I must admit I didn't register for burp cloths when I was pregnant. I cringed at the thought of walking around with an ugly rag permanently hanging from my shoulder. I don't have that problem with SewBebe's fashionable designs. Now I don't have to use my sleeves anymore...yay! I love that these burp cloths are 100% cotton, so they don't irritate Marlie's delicate skin when I wipe her face. They are also absorbent and durable. I have already washed my pair three times without any fraying. I now keep my SewBebe burp cloths on hand for feedings and pack one in her diaper bag for when we are on the go. I have been converted!

Marley is getting so big!! What a cutie-pie!!!
I'm stoked that my burp cloth days are behind me. Unfortunately, the projectile vomiting ones are here for a while..

LOVE embellished burp clothes. Definitely one of those things that is hard to justify buying yourself....but so nice to have (especially when you take baby out).

I checked out the website, & loved the wet bags. Very good idea to keep one in the diaper bag.

Oh, and I just became a fan on Facebook! With 2 babies on the way, I figure it is worth it to make 2 entries. =)

I don't have any babies but I have a couple of friends/in laws who do. I'm just stopping by from SITS Sunday to say hi anyway. I couldn't resist reading a post with the word SEW in the title!

I'm staring at the picture and Marlie looks like a pretty little porcelain doll. Her eyes are gorgeous...so expressive!

You realize she is losing that "baby" look and is taking on a "little girl" look...HOW DARE SHE! LOL

Okay, so my mandatory entry is:

I love the SewBebe Girly Girl Minky Baby Blanket. Alyssa loves pink and brown together, so we are trying to put baby clothing in those colors in her hopechest.

Burp cloths work in so many ways WAY beyond the "burping" days. Shoot, I still have them handy for hand wiping, face scrubbing before school, wetting and cleaning sticky messes....they're wonderful things to have. I'm shocked you had to be converted to a piece of cloth with multiple uses! :)
