CLOSED...TOATS Organic Cookies Review + Giveaway {Earth Day Party}

Friday, April 15, 2011

My regular readers know that I have been back on the healthy grind...working out and eating right. I still get those urges for something sweet, but I have to be careful not to undo all my hard work. I also have to be mindful of my sensitivity to gluten.

TOATS homemade oatmeal cookiesI sang hallelujah when TOATS sent me an individual packet of organic cookies to sample. TOATS are made from 9 wholesome ingredients: organic oat flour, organic almonds, organic flax meal, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic rolled oats, organic honey, organic pure cane sugar, xanthan gum and sea salt. They are low in sugar and salt, trans fats and cholesterol-free, and a good source of Omega 3, fiber and whole grains.

So what does a healthy cookie taste like?...D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! They remind me of my grandmother's homemade oatmeal cookies, plus they are filling. I was sad that I only had four cookies and even sadder that I had to share them with Marlie. There was a little tussle over who would get the last cookie. I told her mommy had to eat it because I had to write a review...a little low, but I had to have that cookie!
